President & CEO, Gold’s Gym
Adam Zeitsiff is the President & CEO of Gold’s Gym, the world’s trusted fitness authority. Having previously served as the company’s CIO and SVP of Brand Innovation from 2016-2018, Adam was lured back to lead the evolution and global resurgence of Gold’s Gym after its owners decided to reinvest in the company in early 2019. One of the world’s most recognizable and iconic brands, Gold’s Gym serves over three million people daily with more than 750 locations, across 23 different countries on six continents. Featuring personalized transformation plans, state-of-the-art equipment, certified personal trainers, a diverse group of studio exercise programs, and a supportive, motivating environment, Gold’s Gym delivers the most dynamic fitness experience in the industry – all built around its world-renowned legacy of strength.
Adam’s diverse daily responsibilities at Gold’s include maintaining overall responsibility for the brand’s 140 corporately owned gyms and the 6,500 employees that make up this large operating entity. In addition, he works closely with the Brand and Franchising teams to aggressively grow the footprint of the global Gold’s brand through both franchising, and global product and apparel licensing deals. Adam also spearheads brand innovation offerings, including AMP by Gold’s Gym, the company’s new digital fitness app, and a variety of new fitness concepts being developed for launch in 2020.
Between his tenures at Gold’s, Adam served as the CIO and SVP of Brand Innovation for Smoothie King, the country’s largest smoothie based QSR restaurant chain with over 1,000 locations nationwide. From 1995 to 2016, he lived and worked on Long Island, first in Fort Salonga and then Saint James, as a successful serial entrepreneur and software CEO. Adam was the President and Business Unit Manager for Jonas Software, maintaining responsibility for their Fitness and Leisure software division in the US and UK from 2006 through late 2015. He served as President of EZFacility in Woodbury, before migrating into the role of President/Business Unit Manager at Jonas Software when they acquired EZFacility in October of 2009. Adam was responsible for the rapid growth of the Fitness/Leisure software division of Jonas, directing and guiding the acquisition of six companies over the span of five years.
Adam has extremely strong ties to the Long Island Elite (LIE), having been a member of the organization for over 11 years from 2005 through 2016. He served as a Board Member of the LIE from 2010 through 2016, as Co-President from 2013 to 2015, and as Vice-President of the organization from 2015 until his resignation from the group in 2016, due to his relocation to Texas. Adam also served as a Co-Chair of the LIE’s original Believe Symposium and was an active volunteer within the group during his tenure. An active participant in the Long Island business and philanthropical community for over twenty years, Adam was recognized as a CEO of the Year recipient by the Long Island Business News (LIBN) in 2015.
Adam currently lives in the Dallas area of Texas with his wife Cristina, daughter Abby, son Gavin, stepdaughter Emma, and loyal four-legged sidekick Misha. Adam and Cristina are expecting a baby girl in late-August of 2019 and are very excited to welcome this new member of their blended family.
